Orangeburg welcomes Serve & Connect's latest community group: Orangeburg ROSE

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WACH) — Folks in Orangeburg are kicking off a new program they're hoping will spark positive change across the area.

Local non-profit Serve & Connect and the City of Orangeburg are teaming up for a new effort of bringing people together.

It's called the Orangeburg R.O.S.E. - which stands for Rasing Orangeburg Seeds of Excellence.

Founded by Dr. Kassy Alia Ray, Serve & Connect has been working to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community since 2015.

They also have branch organizations like this one to spread out their reach.
