Become a CCHA Preceptor

Do you want to continue making an impact in your community for many more years to come? The Center for Community Health Alignment (CCHA) is looking for community health worker (CHW) preceptors for the practicum phase of the CCHA Core Competency Training.

Preceptors serve as supervisors and mentors for an in-field CHW experience for trainees that have progressed beyond the initial 80 facilitated learning hours of the core competency training as they complete an additional 80 hours of hands-on training in their communities. Preceptors evaluate trainee performance and guide them on best practices for their continued professional development. The position requires two years of experience working as a CHW (certification not required), experience mentoring other professionals, and participation in the CCHA Preceptor Training.
