Our community thrives when everyone has the knowledge and access to the health resources they need. Trusted Messengers play a key role in guiding people to reliable health information and support. Join us for this engaging workshop that will provide you with the tools to lead your community to the resources they need. A meal will be provided, along with time to connect and share with fellow community ambassadors. This training is intended for those serving as trusted voices for essential health information in our community (i.e., community health workers, faith leaders, healthcare workers, nonprofit workers, connectors, and neighborhood ambassadors).
 
5:30-6:00 Check-in, Networking, and Dinner
6:00-6:30 Explore Greenville’s Health Landscape: Understand how different factors affect the health of our community and learn how to advocate for fair access to health resources.
6:30-7:00 Simplify Health Information: Practice ways to make complex health topics easy for everyone to understand, helping your community make informed choices.
7:00-7:30 Strengthen Trust: Learn how to build and maintain trust while supporting your community’s health and well-being.
