Midlands Harm Reduction Collective Mini-Conference

The Integrated Care for Recovery (I-CaRe) Center at USC is inviting you to attend a one-day Harm Reduction mini-conference at 300 Senate at Senate's End (316 Senate St. Columbia, SC 29201) on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025 from 9am - 1pm. This is the third meeting of the Midlands Harm Reduction Collective—a community collective that shares a common goal of ending the overdose epidemic and improving access to evidence-based harm reduction tools.
 
This meeting will focus on exploring strategies to increase community distribution of Naloxone. We will hear about distribution efforts and challenges faced here in the Midlands. Additionally, Andy Gish, RN, BSN, CEN will visit from Georgia where she does community outreach and distributes Naloxone with Georgia Overdose Prevention and the Atlanta Harm Reduction Coalition. Specifically, she will discuss strategies used to significantly increase the number of Naloxone Distribution Boxes in Georgia. Learn more about ANDY.
