Food Allergy Research & Education “train-the-trainer” class for CHWs

Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) is offering a free, live “train-the-trainer” class to CHWs, February 13 beginning at 6 p.m. (Eastern Time). The course is available to those who have completed Food Allergy Xchange, a free, one-hour, on-demand class about food allergy -- a life-threatening disease that impacts 33 million people in the US. The train-the-trainer class teaches participants how to present a food allergy presentation in their community, as well as general public speaking skills. Participants receive a copy of the slide deck upon completion.

To complete Food Allergy Xchange, go to www.foodallergyacademy.org, create a fee account and search for Food Allergy Xchange. Participants who complete the course will be provided a link to sign up for the Feb 13 class. Additional train-the-trainer classes will be offered later this year.
