Peer-to-Peer Provider Supports for OUD/SUD in South Carolina
Join the SC Center of Excellence in Addiction on Wednesday, August 14 at noon for a lunch-and-learn webinar about South Carolina's new Clinician Warmline for opioid and substance use disorders (OUD/SUD) and the Mom’s IMPACTT program. Both South Carolina-based tools make peer-to-peer consultation available to clinicians and medical providers in our state. Experts from Center of Excellence partner organizations, Michelle Strong, DNP, MSN, FNP-BC, CARN-AP, of Prisma Health, and Connie Guille, MD, of the Medical University of South Carolina, will provide a deep dive into how clinicians can access this kind of consultation support when working with individuals with OUD/SUD.
If you would like to learn more about peer support for those with substance use disorder, or about Mom's IMPACTT which provides mental health treatment and resources for pregnant and postpartum people and real-time psychiatric consultations for providers, this is something you will not want to miss!
