Advancing Health Equity in South Carolina Conference

South Carolina State University’s Health Equity Research Training Center (HERT-C) will conduct its inaugural Health Equity Conference on Friday, April 19, at the university’s I.P. Stanback Museum and Planetarium.

The event will be held in conjunction with SC State’s Center for COVID Health Information, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and AFLAC.

The conference will bring together health equity/disparity professionals, policymakers, community organizations, community leaders, advocates, and community members to address critical health equity issues and explore strategies for creating inclusive and equitable healthcare for all.
