Professional Bio
Office of Rural Health. Tracy is a Certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Community Health Worker, and a Community Doula. She is a graduate of Voorhees University with a BA degree in Computer Science.
Tracy is a member of the Bamberg HEALing Partners, Tri County Health Network, Barnwell HEALing, Partners, SC Breastfeeding Coalition, Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association, SC Perinatal Association, and the past chairman for the Bamberg County First Steps Board. Tracy also serves as a board member of the SC Community Health Workers Association and served as the past chairman.
Tracy is a Life Member and Silver Star of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.-Nu Tau Omega Chapter in Denmark, SC. She is the immediate past president and now serves as the assistant secretary and a member of the graduate council. She is a Minister at the Savannah Creek Baptist Church in Ehrhardt, SC. She loves arts and crafts and attending high school and college football games.
Tracy has worked in perinatal health for the past 22 years and has a passion to help reduce the health disparities in South Carolina among black women and infants.
Her passion is to educate, empower and motivate young people to become the person God created them to be. Her motto is “Let the Life I live speak for me”.
