Professional Bio
Over the past 25 years, Lynda’s career as a human services professional has afforded her the opportunity to serve others and build thriving communities. With exceptional skills as a certified community health worker and community education outreach coordinator, she facilitated educational programs in the criminal justice system to decrease the recidivism rate of inmates, i.e., GED programs, and cross-cultural parent education programs. In 2021, Lynda earned her Master’s of Arts Degree in Human Services. Presently, she serves as a Program Manager at SCCHWA and is actively involved in a community-engaged research project with the USC Arnold School of Public Health, entitled “African American Rural Women In COVID Project”.
