The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) is pleased to announce a training opportunity for community health workers on chronic diseases.
MCD Global Health’s CHW Online Training Program is intended for community health workers and other individuals who assist clients in the prevention, management, and self-management of chronic conditions, such as cancer, high blood pressure, prediabetes, diabetes, and asthma.
This program complements CHW core competency training by providing individuals with added education, skill building, and access to resources.
